The brand name “KNOX” was created in 1958 by Erich Koch for the incense cones of the Apotheker Hermann Zwetz Räuchermittelherstellung incense manufacture.
Incense cones with different scents are still produced today under the name KNOX. These range from traditional scents such as fir, frankincense and sandalwood to exotic variants such as opium, tobacco and cannabis.
