Paccari creates chocolate as it should be. Each bar supports fair trade and contains only the finest organic ingredients.

The name says it all: Paccari means “nature” in Kichwa. The entire value chain – from cocoa cultivation to the finished bar – takes place in Ecuador.

Fairness comes first

Paccari is particularly known internationally as a Tree to Bar and Beyond Fair Trade producer. They work in Direct Trade with approximately 4,000 small-scale farmers, completely bypassing intermediaries.

The most awarded chocolate

Paccari won the “World Best Dark Chocolate Award” in 2012 at the International Chocolate Awards and has accumulated over 450 awards over the years. Thus, Paccari ranks among the best chocolates in the world.

Sustainable through and through

The cocoa comes from “Chakras,” or forest gardens, growing in the shade of numerous other fruit tress and medicinal plants (in agroforestry systems). This preserves the rainforest and avoids monoculture or deforestation. Furthermore, all bars are plastic-free packaged (in compostable wood-cellulose and FSC cardboard).
